Dr.K. G. Sudhier is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Tiruvarur. He has more than 20 years of teaching, research and administrative experience at the University level (formerly in the University of Kerala). He holds MSc (Phys.), MLISc., PhD and qualified UGC-NET & JRF (LIS). Under his supervision 06 PhDs, 10 M Phils and 50+ MLISc Projects have been awarded. He has published 02 books, 60 research articles in peer-reviewed journals, 60+ presentations in seminars and conferences, 12 chapters in books and 20+ popular articles (Malayalam & English) Total 160+ Articles. He is identified as one of the most prolific and highly cited Indian contributor in the area of Scientometrics and scholarly publications. His areas of interest include: ICT in libraries, social networking sites, scientometrics, citation analysis, scholarly communication etc. Dr. Sudhier is the Principal Investigator of the DST-NSTMIS major project of the Ministry of S&T, Govt. of India and Project Director of ICSSR Project.
